AllPoints Fibre Networks has donated £5,000 across two charities chosen by Robyn Collard, Senior UC and Fibre Specialist at Yappl, who won a competition at APFN’s recent Aquila platform launch.

GoFibre has donated much-needed new furniture to Burntisland First Aid as it moves to larger premises in the centre of Burntisland.
Having recently moved location to the former police station, the organisation needed new equipment and furnishings.
The broadband provider helped support the charity’s work with the donation of free office furniture for the kitchen, reception area and breakout area, alongside and a flat screen television.
The donation also marked a special charity discounted tariff on full fibre packages, now available to eligible organisations in Fife through the GoFibre team.
This will allow them to use vital funds to support work that would have been otherwise spent on operational costs and other expenses.
Burntisland First Aid is made up of volunteers who offer lifesaving training to residents interested in safeguarding their community.
Alex MacDonald, Chairman at Burntisland First Aid, said: “With GoFibre’s charity tariff and recent donation of furniture to our new training centre, they’ve made a massive difference in the services that we can provide.”
Through partnership support and network expansion, GoFibre now has over 26,000 premises ready for connection to its regional network.
