YouFibre becomes the first altnet to connect premises in all four UK countries after signing up its first customer in Northern Ireland.

MS3 Networks has revealed the 22 new locations that will make up phases three and four of its development plans.

Three-quarters of UK premises now have the option of buying a Gigabit broadband connection, according to the latest data from ThinkBroadband.

Over 100,000 homes are now ready for service on Lit Fibre’s network, with the altnet rolling out at a rate of 10,000 new premises passed per month. This is a significant milestone as it looks towards 500,000 UK homes by 2026.

Brsk has connected over 1,000 customers in Manchester to its full fibre network doubling its live customer count in the area in recent months.

Fibrus has now delivered its network to 250,000 rural premises and connected more than 36,000 customers. 

Openreach’s full fibre network now passes 10 million homes, businesses and public services in the UK.

Zzoomm has connected the 10,000th customer to its full fibre network which is currently available to consumers and businesses across 29 towns in England.
