CityFibre has completed the primary-build of its full fibre network in Havant, Westbourne and other surrounding areas, allowing over 22,000 homes in the region access - around 98% of premises - making it one of the best-connected locations in the UK.

Gigaclear will kick off engineering work in Buckden and Kimbolton with aims to connect 3,500 homes and businesses in the villages by the summer.
The altnet will be utilising existing Openreach ducts and poles wherever possible in order to minimise disruption. The work in Buckden and Kimbolton is scheduled to be completed by spring 2024.
Gigaclear Delivery Director Tony Smith said: “Unlike many other broadband providers who compete to offer their services in dense, urban areas, we’re focussing on harder-to-reach communities that are far less likely to have a choice of supplier.
“Having access to reliable and fast broadband speeds is no longer a luxury but is necessary in order for many people to live their lives fully, whether it’s working from home, streaming or accessing other online entertainment.”
The work is part of the altnet’s £39m infrastructure investment in Cambridgeshire.
