The government is investing £45m to boost school infrastructure, including £25m to upgrade wireless networks in 2025 – helping get classrooms online and raising standards, in the latest phase of funding that has so far improved connectivity for more than 1.3 million pupils in 3,700 schools.
Cloud comms provider Glemnet has partnered with Community Fibre to provide full fibre broadband to customers in areas where it was previously unavailable such as south London.
Graeme Oxby, CEO of Community Fibre, said: "Our network is built to service 40,000 London businesses with fibre connectivity up to 10 Gbps.
"As we continue to expand our B2B partner programme, we look forward to launching this new offering alongside Glemnet."
