Lightning Fibre has thrown its support behind the Heathfield Show for the fourth consecutive year.

The show, a one-day agricultural festival in the south east, brings together families, friends, farmers, businesses and countryside enthusiasts for a day celebrating rural life.

It features demonstrations and classes, live entertainment, farmers’ markets, shopping stalls, food vendors, and competitions.

Lightning Fibre provided free full fibre broadband across the entire showground, accessible to both traders and visitors. The altnet installed 4km of fibre across the fields, by picking up off its network for local homes and businesses in Heathfield.

Emmaline Pollard, Marketing Executive at Lightning Fibre, said: “We’re committed to supporting local events and investing in East Sussex — not just through our full fibre broadband infrastructure, but by actively participating in the life of the communities we connect.
