CityFibre has completed the primary-build of its full fibre network in Havant, Westbourne and other surrounding areas, allowing over 22,000 homes in the region access - around 98% of premises - making it one of the best-connected locations in the UK.

Over 16,000 homes and businesses in Barry can now access Netomnia’s fibre network as the altnet continues its £8.1m rollout in the region.
The deployment began last year and will connect a total of 27,000 properties in the town.
MD Zoltan Kovacs said: “We know how empowering fibre access can be and are working hard to level the digital playing field.
“This will allow people to take full advantage of all the resources on the internet and the opportunities they offer and enable residents to keep up with technology advances and growing demand for bandwidth.”
Alun Cairns, MP for Vale of Glamorgan, added: “This will help create jobs locally and support more people to work from home, rather than travel to Cardiff and further afield.”
