Openreach is helping more than 140,000 homes and businesses across Cardiff to access full fibre broadband, thanks to its nationwide full fibre rollout, with around 80 per cent of properties across the city connected to ultra-fast speeds.

Openreach has now connected more than half of homes and businesses in Milngavie to its ultrafast broadband network, with the first 3,500 properties able to upgrade.
More than 32,000 properties across East Dunbartonshire can upgrade to full fibre.
Work is ongoing elsewhere in Kilsyth as part of the Scottish Government’s Reaching 100 percent programme, covering rural properties.
The company is also working on a Fibre Community Partnership in Gartocharn, where it co-funds and builds full fibre networks for small clusters not included in any other upgrade plans.
The scheme uses vouchers from both UK and Scottish Governments to fill the funding gap.
Robert Thorburn, Openreach Partnership Director for Scotland, said: “Research shows that connecting everyone in Scotland would bring a multi-billion pound productivity boost.”
