Openreach will be supported by increased investment from BT Group and now expects to accelerate towards its target of reaching 25 million premises by December 2026, upping its build rate by 20% to up to five million premises passed during the year to March 2026.

Zzoomm is due to deliver its first properties released for sale in Codsall this week. The investment will see Zzoomm roll out its fibre network to around 4,000 new properties.
Located in the Staffordshire countryside, Codsall joins nearby Wombourne and Cannock in becoming the next digitally inclusive Zzoomm town in the county.
Chris Collinson, CCO at Zzoomm said: “At Zzoomm, we believe that everyone should have access to reliable, future ready broadband and we look forward to expanding our locations well beyond the existing 45,000 properties in Staffordshire.”
