Aquiss has connected its 10,000th fibre customer following a big push to promote its FTTP products.

toob has celebrated the third anniversary since signing up its first customer by reaching the milestones of 100,000 premises passed and 10,000 homes connected to full fibre.

Due to the hard work of the UK altnet sector, fibre services are now available to 37% of UK households.

Formally available to over 250,000 homes and businesses, ISP Air Broadband has announced the national expansion of its broadband service reach to over one million UK properties on the CityFibre network.

CityFibre has now passed more than two million homes in its rollout, marking the completion of 25% of its announced plans to reach eight million premises.

Truespeed has reached its milestone of 50,000 properties passed and ready for service in its south west full fibre broadband rollout.

Trooli’s full fibre network has tripled in the last year, now expanding to reach 275,000 premises.

As Netomnia’s full fibre network has passed a milestone 210,000 premises across the UK, the altnet has updated its rollout map up until the end of 2023.

Hyperoptic has now connected over 100,000 new build homes to its full fibre network and plans to double this over the next twelve months. 

Openreach is asking North of Tyne businesses to talk to altnets about upgrades as fibre adoption sits below 20%, lagging behind the UK average.
