WightFibre’s latest milestone announcement sees services available to 40,000 premises, signalling the Gigabit Island Project’s halfway mark, with a total of 460km of trenches dug to date. 

Guildford has become the 23rd town to gain access to YouFibre’s gigabit services as the altnet connects its first customer in the area.

Jurassic Fibre has passed 100,000 premises in its full fibre rollout across Dorset, Devon, Somerset and Cornwall.

Gigaclear’s network rollout now passes more than 300,000 premises, up from 250,000 in December.
