Fastr Broadband has completed a broadband rollout in York, giving 8,000 homes and businesses access to high speeds of up to 8,000 Mbps from the full fibre network.

CityFibre's £37m investment into Bolton's digital infrastructure could unlock a £337m economic boost for the city, according to a report by Hatch.
The study estimates that, over a fifteen-year period, the positive impacts will include £192m in productivity and innovation gains, £42m from a widened workforce and £128m in increased housing value.
CityFibre's network may also unlock £456m in gross added value (GVA) from 5G services, £218m from IoT and £81m from Smart City initiatives.
Steve Thorpe, Area Manager for Bolton at CityFibre, said: “This report demonstrates just how powerful fibre is as a catalyst for growth and a platform for innovation and investment.”
Martyn Cox, Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council Leader, said: “When we first outlined Bolton’s regeneration plan in 2020, we knew that its successful delivery depended on the town being a digital hub for businesses and people to thrive.”
