CityFibre has completed the primary-build of its full fibre network in Havant, Westbourne and other surrounding areas, allowing over 22,000 homes in the region access - around 98% of premises - making it one of the best-connected locations in the UK.

BeFibre is connecting 14,000 Brentwood residents with fibre broadband and has awarded local homeowner Tony Morgan with a free 10-year contract worth £6,000.
“Like many other people, our broadband usage has spiked since Covid-19 and so when anyone’s working from home, it’s impossible to do anything without a good connection,” said Morgan.
“We’re providing local communities with a fit-for-the-future infrastructure that delivers the guaranteed speeds people need now and for years to come,” added Rob Andrews, BeFibre CMO.
Brentwood was announced on BeFibre’s build plan in March 2022.
“It’s great to see BeFibre investing significantly in the borough to drive forward digital connectivity for our residents, especially at a time when work from home is ever-increasing,” added Brentwood Borough Council leader, Councillor Chris Hossack.
