Connexin has acquired Encompass Training and will merge the company with its own training and development arm.
As a result, Connexin Academy will gain 30 additional staff to accelerate employment opportunities for over 600 learners each year.
The Academy offers development programmes on digital and IT skills, alongside bootcamps in advanced fibre engineering.
Encompass is a Centre of Excellence with The Leadership Pipeline Institute (LPI), providing a range of courses including leadership, management, accountancy, business and procurement.
Heidi Greaves, MD of Connexin Academy said: “Through this acquisition, we’re able to expand our offering with a range of extra courses, bootcamps and apprenticeships.”
