CityFibre has completed the primary-build of its full fibre network in Havant, Westbourne and other surrounding areas, allowing over 22,000 homes in the region access - around 98% of premises - making it one of the best-connected locations in the UK.

Openreach has begun work extending its north Yorkshire network into Scarborough, with the operator now addressing around 115,000 homes and businesses in the county. This represents a local investment of around £34.5 million.
Thousands of residents and businesses in Easingwold, Harrogate, Kirbymoorside, Malton, Pickering, Skipton, Starbeck, Tadcaster and Richmond already have access and investment is planned in dozens of other local locations such as Bentham, Filey, Settle, Thirsk and Whitby.
Matthew Lovegrove, Openreach Partnership Manager for Yorkshire and the Humber, said: “As our engineering build continues across North Yorkshire we’re determined to deliver a great service to local residents, helping people to work from home easily and build connections and opportunities in their communities.”
