Fastr Broadband has completed a broadband rollout in York, giving 8,000 homes and businesses access to high speeds of up to 8,000 Mbps from the full fibre network.

Openreach is making its full fibre services available in Thistleton and Uppingham as it expands its Rutland network.
They’ll join more than 4,500 other homes and businesses across the county who can access Openreach services.
These include those in Ketton, Manton, Wing and Whissendine. Work to reach most of the Oakham exchange area is due to get underway next year.
Kasam Hussain, Regional Director for the Midlands, said: “This huge infrastructure success story is making such a difference, especially here in Rutland.
“Our network offers a choice of providers such as BT, Sky, TalkTalk, Vodafone, and Zen.”
Councillor Paul Browne, Cabinet Member for Planning, Property and Economic Development at Rutland County Council, said: “We all know how important full fibre is to everyday life and welcome Openreach’s news that further building will soon be getting underway.
“More and more services that are important to everyday life are now online, so having greater reliability and faster speeds is a welcome boost.”
