Connectus is investing an additional £500,000 at Doncaster Airport Business Park, which will allow the company to expand its work in and around the site’s Innovation Centre that includes 140 business units for start-ups and expanding businesses.

River and Mercantile (R&M) is investing up to £155m to support the rollout of Spring Fibre’s broadband network across England.
With this backing, Spring Fibre plans to create a network rising to more than one million premises passed over time, targetting areas with poor internet provision.
Spring Fibre, led by CEO, Ros Singleton, will deploy the network on a wholesale basis, enabling a range of ISPs to offer fibre connectivity solutions.
Singleton said: “We are confident we can expand and accelerate access in areas that would benefit most and expect our first homes to be live within the next six months, with many more to follow.”
Ian Berry, Head of Infrastructure at R&M, added: “From an investment perspective, we consider data infrastructure is a critical asset and investments such as this help us provide reliable, long-term income to our clients.”
