Fastr Broadband has completed a broadband rollout in York, giving 8,000 homes and businesses access to high speeds of up to 8,000 Mbps from the full fibre network.

Truespeed is making a £22m investment across 12 new areas in the south west, making fibre services available to a further 43,000 properties.
For the first time, Truespeed is expanding its into South Gloucestershire, where it has added Thornbury, Almondsbury, Bradley Stoke, Patchway, Stoke Gifford and Chipping Sodbury to its footprint.
In Bath, Truespeed is expanding its network to Bathwick, Widcombe and Combe Down.
Alongside this, Truespeed is expanding to the North Somerset areas of Uphill, Banwell and Sandford which are located to the South and East of Weston Super Mare.
CEO James Lowther said: “By investing in multiple communities across the south west we’re providing an enormous upgrade to a vital modern day utility.”
To date, Truespeed has provided over 140 free connections as part of its work to improve connectivity in the area.
