Ofcom has informed providers that the One Touch Switch system may not be ready for the already delayed launch date of 12th September 2024.

TOTSCo (The One Touch Switching Company) will be making business broadband switching connection testing available from the end of May – with a planned go-live in early 2026, working closely with the industry to ensure that the solution is robust, practical and ready to scale.
Industry-led TOTSCo is an organisation owned by its members and a vehicle for the messaging platform (The TOTSCo Hub) helping to implement Ofcom’s solution One Touch Switch (OTS) for easier and quicker switching between broadband and phone providers.
Since going live, TOTSCo has seen over 920,000 completed OTS switches and more than 13 million messages processed by the Hub, showing that both the process and technology continue to scale well across the industry.
Paul Bradbury, CEO said: “We’re also continuing to see more providers come on board — there are now 324 live brands in the directory, with more in the pipeline.”
